Premium floor module features the well known, always attractive aluminium case of the legendary models. The complete system has been developed entirely anew. The tuning, the filters and the drivers - all of those were newly constructions. 4" woofer and 1.2" tweeter set a scale. Externally one can only see the improvements after the removal of the module grille. Many of those affectionately elaborated tuning details stamp the whole character. The fine pored DTB foam provides extra damping for of baffle and grille reflections. All drivers softly embedded. The positioning of the tweeter was changed and now both of the woofers are arranged below the tweeter. These construction details improve the phase performance and frequency response. The bass reflex was current optimized. All this results in a more powerful bass performance and much improved midrange. It provides a feeling of gentle warmth which expresses itself in staging and linearity. Listening without subwoofer is a pleasure now and – we easy connection as well: The new terminals are considerably bigger, gilt and insulated.
