· Hi, I´m the lucky owner of a Pioneer LX01BD Blu-ray Home Cinema System. I´ve read some good reviews concerning upgrading the standard power cables that was supplied with this system and I´m therefore looking into replacing the power cables with some power cables from the manufacturer Furutech. In my operating instructions manual is stated: "Do not use any power cord other than the one supplied with this system". Hence, in your experience should I be concerned about replacing my power cables with power cables from Furutech (or other power cables from any other power cable manufacturers for that matter)? Are there specail considerations I should take into account when making a replacement?
Thank you for your inquiry. If you have your Pioneer LX01BD Blu-ray Home Cinema System designed for the US market, then you should have a “mini" figure-8 connector on the back side that will work with this cable from Furutech:

But, if you have European system in use then you might consider this cable:

These are perfect replacement for the low-quality "throw-away" power cords supplied with most modern video displays. They will deliver superior performance from "stock" cords in every respect imaginable!
Please feel free to reach out if you have any additional questions.
